Bhuj to Dhordo | Welcome to the Rann Utsav
Your Rann Utsav experience begins with a fixed-timing sharing transfer from Bhuj Airport or Railway Station to Dhordo. Transfers are operated at scheduled timings and are subject to availability and operational changes.
On reaching Rann Utsav – The Tent City, complete your check-in from 12:30 PM onwards. After settling into your Deluxe AC Swiss Cottage, enjoy lunch at the designated dining area. The tented accommodation gives you a comfortable base from which to experience the Rann and the cultural attractions of Kutch.
Spend the afternoon exploring the activities available within the Tent City. You can enjoy leisure time around Skyzilla, the Club House, Craft Market/Haat, selfie points, Art Gallery and the live demonstration area showcasing Kutch crafts.
In the evening, proceed towards the White Rann and Sunset Point. The vast salt desert takes on a completely different appearance as the sun begins to set, creating a memorable desert experience. Transfers to the White Rann are arranged by bus, camel cart or a combination of both as per the camp's arrangements.
Return to the Tent City after the White Rann visit and enjoy dinner at the designated dining area. Later, head to the Cultural Activity Area for entertainment and an introduction to the vibrant culture of Kutch. The evening provides a relaxed way to experience the region's traditional atmosphere before retiring for the night.
Dhordo | Sunrise, Kala Dungar & Gandhi Nu Gaam
Start your morning early with a visit to the Sunrise Point. Watch the first light spread across the vast White Rann as the salt desert gradually changes colour with the rising sun. It is a peaceful way to experience the landscape before the day's activities begin.
Begin the morning with tea at the Tent City and participate in the scheduled yoga session at the dedicated activity area. This provides a relaxed start before breakfast and the day's excursion. You can then enjoy breakfast at the designated dining area.
After breakfast, spend some time exploring the activities available within the resort. Visit the Craft Market/Haat, Art Gallery and handicraft demonstration areas, or enjoy the Club House and other recreational facilities. This free period allows you to experience the Tent City at your own pace before the afternoon excursion.
In the afternoon, proceed on the complimentary excursion to Kala Dungar, also known as Black Hill and described in the itinerary as the highest point of Kutch. The journey offers a change of scenery from the salt desert around Dhordo and provides an opportunity to experience another landscape of the Kutch region. Tea, coffee and light refreshments are served during the journey.
En route to Kala Dungar, visit Gandhi Nu Gaam, a handicraft village showcasing the traditional artistic character of Kutch. Take time to explore the village and appreciate its craft-focused environment before continuing towards Kala Dungar. The stop adds a cultural dimension to the day's landscape-focused excursion.

Dhordo to Bhuj | Smritivan & Departure
Start your final morning with tea and the scheduled yoga session at the activity area. Enjoy breakfast at the dining area before preparing for check-out. This gives you a final opportunity to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Dhordo before beginning your return journey.
Check out from the Tent City at approximately 9:30 AM and board the scheduled sharing transfer towards Bhuj. The supplier specifically advises guests to plan onward flights or trains only after considering the fixed transfer schedule, as the complimentary transfer reaches Bhuj at approximately 11:30 AM.
Before your onward journey, enjoy complimentary sightseeing at Smritivan Earthquake Museum in Bhuj for approximately two hours. The memorial commemorates the victims of the devastating Gujarat earthquake of 2001 and is located on Bhujia Hill.
After completing the Bhuj sightseeing, proceed towards Bhuj Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. Your Rann Utsav experience concludes after a short but immersive introduction to the White Rann, Kutch culture and the landscapes around Dhordo.
